HVAC Sheet Metal Worker Trade
An Ontario Red Seal Certificate of Qualification trade. If a career in HVAC sheet metal work interests you, Local 504 offers a 5-year apprenticeship that includes 9,000 hours of paid, on-the-job work experience — including pension and benefits from day one.
You’ll also complete three two-month terms of in-class training at our training facility in Oakville, Ontario. While you’re in school, you continue to get paid through government funding, including a travel and daily living-away allowance.
We’re always looking for welders too — Local 504 offers welding courses so members can earn their welding certification alongside their apprenticeship.
Practical experience, backed by classroom education
Every apprentice splits their time between real, paid job sites and structured classroom training, so you graduate as a Journeyman with both the hands-on skills and the technical knowledge employers trust.
